John is a U.S. Marine Corps veteran who served in Vietnam and loves his country. He started home health services with Interim HealthCare in April 2021. Prior to this, he tried two other agencies but was dissatisfied their responsiveness of care. After interviewing our home health aide, there was an immediate connection which has led to some great improvements in his health. Shortly thereafter, he began receiving nursing and therapy services for his COPD and he progressed to outpatient. John’s aide comes three times a week to get him moving, exercising and out of his recliner. He is now moving around easier and motivated to do more, which is crucial to his health. John also started attending our monthly vet-to-vet cafes and he meets with a few veteran buddies once a week for coffee. Home healthcare has made such a difference for John, enabling him to regain his mobility, properly care for his COPD and embrace life again.
